If your only putting the kind of fine spirits/ Top shelf liquor/ high end booze in your Johnny flask then a quick rinse with water should usually do the trick. but if your the kind of person that puts something nasty like Fireball or something really strong like absinthe you may need to wash it out with a water and white vinegar mix 50/50 is good. put the cap back on and shake it for a minute or two.make sure and wash it out very well after using vinegar. If it still has a smell you can always try changing out the silicone seal. other than that there's not much maintenance for a Johnny flask, Enjoy.
